Meet MORE SWAT TEAM MEMBERS

Meet Ms. Christin and Glory Kubicek, high school students from ICIS. Christin was one of our earliest club members. She has returned to help other young students learn about the Bible. Christin is on a Great Adventure with God, as she is awaiting a new liver. Athough she is in the midst of a trial - she lifts up the name of Jesus everyday in praise. She explains the spelling of her name as "Christ....in". Anyone that meets her soon knows Christ is IN her heart.

On the right is Glory - so yep, here we have it - Christ in Glory! They love to share that! They have a little sister too, Faith. So we are blessed with a the team of sisters, Christ in Faith and Glory!

Glory is also one of our early club members. She too attends ICHS with big Sis and is a fundraiser for Christin's liver transplant team. Both girls are super help to the Leaders in club. They are Faithful and fun. The kids love them.

The kids love them both!

Agent Polly Roberts (left) has been a faithful leader in club for several years. She has grandchildren of her own, but time and love enough to spare for the kids in FBI. Polly sometimes attends lunch at ICIS just to talk with the kids!

Agent Misty Carr is a new recruit. Polly invited her to join the SWAT TEAM. Misty has a daughter in FBI and a son that helps too. We really got a deal when we got Misty. THANKS POLLY!

Agents GG and TB

Meet Agent "GG" a/k/a Grandma Gospel. Sue worked with us in the Great Adventure Club when it was first called the Good News Club. She has continued to be on our prayer team for several years. She now holds a very important job on our team with the Cadets. The Cadets can go to her and share their prayer requests! BTW -those requests are kept confidential - going no further than the prayer team. Agent GG also has time to explain scriptures the Cadets may have further questions about. She shares the love of Jesus with them in many ways. She is quite an encourager to everyone in the Great Adventure Club!

This is probably the Cadets FAVORITE person in club - SNACK MAN. He is starting his 4th year of bringing the goodies and water each week. He is usually the first to greet the kids when they come in to Headquarters. He carts in all kinds of gear needed for the club, cleans the cafeteria so well that no one can tell we've even been there, sometimes helps Cadets find the scriptures, enjoys conversations with the Cadets and also helps to greet families and friends that line up around the school to pick up the kids. We don't know what we would do without him.

Field Assignment #2

(Click on the photo to see it large!)
Here they are...our 2009 FBI Cadets. This photo is actually the last photo of 4 that a brave Mom climbed the bleachers to take for us. Do you think that maybe...she is Detective BOLOF - in disguise?!! She sure was courageous! Look close. Some of the goofy SWAT Team thought that they could protect their identity. Not so! We will be posting more SWAT Team IDs on the blog! And next week - week we will place a photo of the Cadets when they were at attention.

Academy Field Assignment #2
Return the completed assignment to Headquarters for 2 Merits!
  1. John 1:3 “Through HIM ALL were made; without HIM NOTHING was made that has been made.”
  2. Look up at the heavens and count the STARS --- if you indeed can count them.” Then he said to him, “So shall your offspring be.” The Bible tells me that I am like a STAR to God. (numbered in the generations of people that God told Abraham would be his heirs.)
  3. Stars shine back to bring God GLORY. My life should bring God HONOR.
  4. Romans 3:23 says, ALL have sinned and come short of the GLORY of God.
  5. Anything we think, do or say that makes God sad is a SIN.

Help “DETECTIVE BOLOF!!!! Find someone that needs a friend. Tell them they are God’s “star”. Who will you tell that GOD made ALL things? ________________________.

Trail Ride #3

YEEE-HAW!!!!! Week #3 already! Do you like your new shirts! Our Club looked GREAT wearing our shirts! Be sure to wear them every week. We really look like ranch dudes with them on.

Complete your homework and receive $50 Bronco Bucks for EWITBIAT's training. It will take a lot of Bucks to ship him to GOD's Dream Ranch.

Here are the answers. You are so smart! You probably already have every answer correct!

1. Horses need to have clean stalls and corrals to keep them safe while they are being trained. God wants us to have CLEAN/PURE hearts so that we too can be safe and be better equipped for God’s training. (See Psalm 51:10)
2. Sometimes a horse may be hurt when the trainer begins to work with them. If the horse has a wound, the trainer will first help heal the horse. God promises us that HE will HEAL our broken hearts and BIND /FIX our wounds. (See Psalm 147:3)
3. A trainer will use buckets, brooms, shovels and hoses to clean the stinky horse stalls and corral. Our hearts need to be cleaned up from stinky sin. We need to PRAY to God and ask HIM to FORGIVE us. (See 1 John 1:9)
4. Everyone has SINNED We all need to be forgiven. (See Romans 3:23)
See you on Thursday.
Wear your shirts.
Bring your Bibles.
Don't forget your homework!
AND memorize the scripture on the back of your shirts.
Do all that and you will earn $200 for EWITBIAT's training!!!

New Club Will Start soon!

Great Adventure headquarters is busy finalizing the plans for the next Great Adventure Club! Our theme this semester is "Rodeo Round-Up" and members will take on being Rodeo Wranglers or Buckaroos. YEE-HAW!

First week: kids take gear (book bags and coats) to the Ranch Arena (school gym). You will meet the Trainers there and find out the name of your group. The Rodeo Ranch will be working with HORSES!!!! We have Appaloosas, Arabians, Clydesdales, Mustangs, Palominos, Paints, Quarter Horses and Tennessee Walkers.

After you find out which horse group you are in, drop your gear at your "stall" and head to the Chuck Wagon (cafeteria) for Grub.

In the OK Corral, (also in the cafeteria) you will get some special training from our Trail Boss (Jesus). Wranglers and Buckaroos will also go to the Rodeo Arena for rodeo events each week! WOAH!!! Get ready to sit high in your saddle and listen up for the rules!

Do you remember how hard you worked in the SaFaRI Treasure club to earn gospel bracelets to send to El Salvador? Ms. Emmalea will be taking the bracelets to El Salvdor during our Rodeo Round-Up. She will be back to tell you about things that happened when folks received the bracelets that you sent. AND there is MORE that you will be doing to help in El Salvador in the Rodeo Round-Up. You are going to LOVE this next project for our El Salvadoran friends!

See you on February 19th! Invite a friend!
